They're amazing, especially how so many of the environments in Gears of War 2 can kill you. Lets post your favorite maps, and why.

New Maps: Mine is River, especially on Horde mode, damn man! Extremely well thought-out and made!

I dont have Gears of War 2...probably wont get it for awhile

assface! Ive been given mixed reviews, I would rent it but every place is sold out :'(...so I'll just wait for the PC version

PC version will take a long, long time.

Trust me on this, if you liked the first one, buy it, definitly. If you thought the first one was okay, then rent it. If you hated the first one with rage and fire, don't.

There's dozens upon dozens of things that GoW2 changed from the first one to make it all around amazing. Boss battles are epic (no pun) beyond belief, chainsaw duels are intense, and the story is, well, actually a story (not perfect, but improved).

Indeed! Everything's better. Everything can kill you now (Razer Hail, trains, fire, etc). It's dangerous, and intense. Even one of my favorites, Security, has a security laser system in place. You touch the lasers... well... just remember how the lasers in the Resident Evil movie worked (The one in the underground facility). Yeah, that's what happens to your body. Not fun, but good for fights if you need cover.
