Worth Buying?

This game has intrigued me for quite some time.

Is worth buying? It looks pretty deep, but how would categorize the game? RTS? Sim?

Also, what kind of multiplayer component does it have? PvP or some sort of CO-OP aspect?

Generally I would probably buy this if it had a CO-OP play because I generally have a friend where we LAN up and what not.

I own it, it is an amazingly hard game to get away from. Its also fairly hard to play too...you can customize maps very well...Very fun game...If you like RTS then buy it

Damn, I'm still on the fence. Is there a demo? I just don't want it to be super deep...but it's not too expensive so I might pick it up.
